Sophie was a ~9yo female pit bull/mastiff mix. She was found wandering the desert and taken in by a kind family, who were unable to keep her. Sophie was blind but very sweet, quiet, and just wanted to lay by your side and keep you company. She got along with other dogs, loved her toys and was good at giving corrections. She does not like having her paws touched and is not a huge fan of water. She was found to have tumors all through her uterus, likely due to overbreeding. They were causing her severe discomfort and the decision was made to lay her to rest.
She spent her last few week in the care of a loving foster family, enjoying her time with our very own Sagey and Daisy, who were adopted earlier by the foster family. She knew love, kindness and care in her final weeks. She will be missed by everyone.
