Cocoa is an ~12yo male Lhasa Apso. He was taken in by FureverNV in December 2024 as an owner surrender. Cocoa is a curious little guy, who considers himself quite the ladies man. He has lived as an only dog his whole life but he enjoys being around female dogs and gets along with all dogs in general. He has a couple minor skin ailments and we believe he is a little hard of hearing and has sight difficulties, but he is a gentle dog and non-aggressive, and enjoys treats. He loves nothing more than to find a quiet place in the room to sleep the day away.

He was house-trained but due to his poor eyesight and advancing age, he does sometimes have accidents in the house as he has trouble seeing how to get out through the doggy door. He has some issues with his skin, but we have found that a fish-based dry food diet appears to help with that.
