Wolfie aka ADmiral is an ~2yo male Australian Shepherd mix. He was committed for euthanasia and pulled by FureverNV and into a foster home inAugust 2025. Wolfie is such an amazing dog. He is so super sweet and friendly. He loves giving kisses, snuggling, and often thinks he's a lap dog. He loves playing with his stuffy toys and playing with tennis balls (ball is life!). He already knows sit and is working on other basic commands. He rides great in the car and is a very confident and happy dog.
Wolfie is still young and needs help learning basic manners. He does pull a little on leash. He gets excited, but not reactive to dogs on leash. He did pass a playgroup test at The Animal Foundation. Wolfie's naughty habit right now is counter surfing. He however is a super loving guy and wants to please. He would do great with an active household who will give him regular walks, hiking, and both mental and physical stimulation. Wolfie gets along great with a dog-confident cat, but I do not recommend him with shy/runner type cats.
If you can give him the exercise, training, guidance, and love he needs to be successful, please reach out!
