Havana is an ~9yo female Siberian Husky. She was committed for euthanasia and pulled by FureverNV in September 2025 and into a foster home. Havana is a little shy and fearful, but hopefully will come out of her shell once she is out of the stress of the shelter environment.
At her current foster home, she loves tennis balls, will find them in the house and gladly throws them around herself. She enjoys wandering around our backyard and enthusiastically goes on short walks with nice leash manners. She has great house manners, scurrying to the back door to potty, and not getting into things, responding nicely to a firm "uh uh". She already knows where our dog treat closet is and will prance to wherever you want her to eat the treat and takes it gently. She will come to your side of the bed and greet you with sweet kisses, give a woo woo howl when she is excited to see you, and is just a happy girl when she is with you. She enjoys being gently pet and brushed.
She has had serious healtlh issues such as pneumonia, kidney disease, arthritis that she has overcome. However she has an inoperable mass in her chest that makes her a hospice dog. She is looking for someone to give her a quiet home, in her final months and final chapter.
